It's that time of the month again GlossyBox has arrived!

This months was titled Spring Fever and although took ages to come I think it was so worth the wait! So this is it:

It comes in this beautiful box designed by Pearl Lowe, inside is an exclusive interview with her and then ofcourse the reason I order the boxes the products :)

This month we got:

Nip+Fab Mango Smoothie Body Butter
This product smells delightful and I can not wait to try it out for that summer smell and is perfect travel size to take on holiday and to the beach to keep up your soft skin and summer smell. It is quite a large sample so it will last a while and I think I will definitely be investing when I have finished it.

A Derma Lip Balm
At first I had no idea what this product was as the box is not in English and I haven't seen it before but once opened I realised it was a lip balm in an easy to use tube. Again a decent size sample will last most of spring and into summer the feel of it in soft on my lips with the slightest tingle and leaves them feeling soft. I quite like this product.

Sleek Make-up Product in Flamingo.
I think this is my not so great product. It is a bright pink blusher and having naturally pink cheeks I don't need the help however it is a very decent size sample again for those who do like blusher. I might use it as an eyeshadow or something, but not a product I am going to be raving about this summer.

Elixer Purple Perfume by Yves Rocher
This is a LOVE for me it is such a summer smelling perfume light enough for the day and could even double up for the night time! It is sweet but not sickly sweet. The sample size is a good size but will definitely be hunting this product down and buying a bottle for summer, along with my daisy (all time favourite summer perfume)!

Finally there is the Essie Nail Varnish Colour Rosebowl
This is a full size bottle of Essie nail varnish...good shout Glossy especially after the sample bottle of nail varnish last month. I was a little disappointed with the colour especially as I have seen people get the peach and lilac ones which are perfect spring summer colours. However, after trying it on for size I think this will be a perfect summer colour, bright and perfect for those days at the beach or on holiday to give that eye catching effect.

All in all this was a much better box than last months! Feel like it really captured those must have Summer products! Bring on the Sun x

I am sure this dissertation is going to be the death of me! I love the subject I am doing, witchcraft, but like everyone else I am struggling to work through it along with the rest of my work load from other topics! On top of that the last meeting I was meant to have with my dissertation tutor before I was going home for Easter, SHE FORGOT ABOUT ME!-added stress or what? However, I recently saw this article on the Guardian and it made me laugh how true it was, so thought I'd share it with you guys!

10 Things I wish I'd Known before starting my Dissertation!

Today is D-Day. Dissertation hand-in day.

The 10,000-word spiral-bound paper that's been squatting on my desk in various forms of completion since September is my Allied forces; the history department in-tray is my Normandy. And when Eisenhower talked about a "great crusade toward which we have striven these many months", he was bang on.

It's been more than a year since I first encountered the Undergraduate Dissertation Handbook, felt my heart sink at how long the massive file took to download, and began to think about possible (but in hindsight, wildly over-ambitious) topics. Here's what I've learned since, and wish I'd known back then…

1 If your dissertation supervisor isn't right, change. Mine was brilliant. If you don't feel like they're giving you the right advice, request to swap to someone else – providing it's early on and your reason is valid, your department shouldn't have a problem with it. In my experience, it doesn't matter too much whether they're an expert on your topic. What counts is whether they're approachable, reliable, reassuring, give detailed feedback and don't mind the odd panicked email. They are your lifeline and your best chance of success.

2 If you mention working on your dissertation to family, friends or near-strangers, they will ask you what it's about, and they will be expecting a more impressive answer than you can give. So prepare for looks of confusion and disappointment. People anticipate grandeur in history dissertation topics – war, genocide, the formation of modern society. They don't think much of researching an obscure piece of 1970s disability legislation. But they're not the ones marking it.

3 If they ask follow-up questions, they're probably just being polite.

4 Do not ask friends how much work they've done. You'll end up paranoid – or they will. Either way, you don't have time for it.

5 There will be one day, probably a couple of months before deadline, when you will freak out, doubt your entire thesis and decide to start again from scratch. You might even come up with a new question and start working on it, depending on how long the breakdown lasts. You will at some point run out of steam and collapse in an exhausted, tear-stained heap. But unless there are serious flaws in your work (unlikely) and your supervisor recommends starting again (highly unlikely), don't do it. It's just panic, it'll pass.

6 A lot of the work you do will not make it into your dissertation. The first few days in archives, I felt like everything I was unearthing was a gem, and when I sat down to write, it seemed as if it was all gold. But a brutal editing down to the word count has left much of that early material at the wayside.

7 You will print like you have never printed before. If you're using a university or library printer, it will start to affect your weekly budget in a big way. If you're printing from your room, "paper jam" will come to be the most dreaded two words in the English language.

8 Your dissertation will interfere with whatever else you have going on – a social life, sporting commitments, societies, other essay demands. Don't even try and give up biscuits for Lent, they'll basically become their own food group when you're too busy to cook and desperate for sugar.

9 Your time is not your own. Even if you're super-organised, plan your time down to the last hour and don't have a single moment of deadline panic, you'll still find that thoughts of your dissertation will creep up on you when you least expect it. You'll fall asleep thinking about it, dream about it and wake up thinking about. You'll feel guilty when you're not working on it, and mired in self-doubt when you are.

10 Finishing it will be one of the best things you've ever done. It's worth the hard work to know you've completed what's likely to be your biggest, most important, single piece of work. And you're proud of it.

I'm off to hand this thing in, see you on the other side.

How true is all of that! Well mines due in on the 3rd May so not long left for me! Good Luck on your dissertation too!

Are you doing a Dissertation? What on? How are you finding the whole process? x

Glossy Box Review.

Sorry about the delay guys been massively bogged done with uni work recently and going home for Easter!

Well my glossy Box arrived! Not impressed with the delivery I found mine wet behind the dustbin! Luckily the box inside the packaging was not damaged so not too big a deal but would have preferred a redelivery or left with neighbours.

The Boxes are lovely and perfect for storage and for future moving help!

On Top is a guide to what is inside and a Travel Guide which I love as after uni I hope to take a year out to travel!-Good Bonus from Glossy Box there.

Love the wrapping and the ribbon will use it in my room or on bed post to decorate :)

When I first opened the box I was a little disappointed at how little there was in there but at a look at the products I was a lot happier!

What I Got:

Treseme Hair Spray Firm Hold:
Disappointed with this one as you can get it for £4 in Boots the exact same size..then saying that a girl can never have enough hairspray so will come in handy.

Nails inc. Nail Varnish:
I love the colour and have been wearing it all week very hardy!-Shame the sample was so small though but should last a little while.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush:
OMG I LOVE THIS!! I have wanted to try a lipblush for ages but have never known which one to get or afford the price incase I don't like it so was so happy when this was in there. I tried it that night to the pub and I love it! It moisturises my lips and has a very lasting colour.

Elizabeth Arden Skin Protection Cream:
Again Disappointed with the sample size. This product is funny it has a horrible smell but does leave my hands feeling soft..not sure! Plus I have only used it twice and there is only a tiny bit left.

Love this product, always have loved L'Occitane products. Once again though would have liked a large sample.

Well that was it my first Glossy Box-Will give a full review soon just run out of time today! I am still going to get another one so will keep you posted on what I get.

Do you get Glossy Box? What do you think of any of these Products? x

I don't know what I'd do without my mum she is my best friend and my role model! She is there for me through thick and thin and I will always support me with my decisions no matter how daft they maybe!

I will always be your little girl.

I got my mum these beautiful flowers from m&s and a nail and tweezer set from Cath Kidston plus a hand cream and cutical cream set from Cath Kidston so she can pamper herself on Mothers Day.

Although I cant see her today as I am away at Uni I saw her thursday to give her her presents and my mum and dad came and watched me ride in my Varisty Equestrian Competition!

What are you doing for Mothers day? What ever it is I hope you enjoy it!

Body Shop Bonanza!

Just thought I'd share with you my current two favourite items from the Body Shop.

The first is this hemp lip conditioner its fairly light but sorts those dry lips right out! Although it does has a weird smell like all hemp products but works wonders so worth a purchase.

The second is their earth lovers body wash. I used to have the Apricot one but they stopped doing it :( so I thought I'd try the Pear and Lemongrass one it smells lovely and is really soft on the skin so perfect with those out there with sensitive skin like me!

Enjoy! x

Now I'm going to tell you a little secret I used to hate the smell of lush and the sight of the store used to give me a headache but recently something has changed and the stores no longer have an over powering scent that lingers on you for days!

My house mate Sarah ( has always loved the products in there and recently got one of their face masks I loved the smell of it and the feel of it so I went and bought one myself...and I hate to say it but I love it! I've kinda become a little hooked to going into the store and trying there products!

The face mask I got was there oatfix one it smells divine! and after use it leaves your skin feeling ultra soft and clean!

Here it is:

I have just woken up and very hungover so excuse the bad picture!

There are loads to try and choose from so I'll keep you posted on which is my favourite!

Have you tried any? Which are your favourites?
